Culture Republick Milk & Honey pint package art by Joe Geis

An artist, designer, & woodworker based in Brooklyn, Joe’s artwork is all about movement & balance. We were first drawn to Joe for his unique shapes & line work. And then we learned more about one of his key ingredients: negative space – which he uses in each of his designs to dynamically foster balance between all the elements. Joe was great to work with & is also just an awesome, easy going, & down to earth guy.

How does Milk & Honey inspire your pack design?

“I started to look at the characteristics of milk and honey, and how they acted in certain situations. How could I represent the movement of honey being poured? The movement of milk splashing? How would they react when introduced to each other? Thinking about these actions and interactions gave me a great place to start when I began to draw the line work.”

Why does Culture Republick appeal to you?

“I’ve dealt with on and off stomach issues the past few years, and I’ve learned a lot about the benefits and importance of probiotics and keeping your gut healthy. A healthy gut has major positive effects on your entire body, mood, memory, and mental health. A healthy gut allows you to live the life you want to lead. I wish there were probiotics in everything I ate.”
